About the 2005 Conference

Canada’s Game? Critical Perspectives on Ice Hockey and Identity, was held at the Radisson Plymouth Harbor Hotel in Plymouth Mass, April 14 – 16, 2005. The conference included panel and roundtable sessions, keynote and guest presentations and social/meal functions. Most importantly, a shinny match was organized for the participants.

Who Were Our Guest and Keynote Speakers?

Keynote Speaker

Jean Perron, Head Coach, Israel under-18 National Team; former CIAU National championship coach; former NHL coach (Montreal Canadians, Quebec Nordiques); sports commentator on Montreal’s Télévision quatres saisons. (TQS).

Guest Speaker

The Honourable James Bradley, Minister of Tourism and Recreation, Province of Ontario, Canada.
