Ian Herbers just finished a stint as Assistant Coach of the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL) and is now returning to the University of Alberta’s Golden Bears hockey team as Head Coach. Ian’s playing career saw him suit up for U Sports, the Western Hockey League (WHL), International Hockey League (IHL), and the NHL, including some time with the Oilers. He has also coached in the American League (AHL), Ontario Hockey League (OHL), and East Coast Hockey League (ECHL).
